Dear Friends,
I am very pleased to announce the 20th season of the Mainly Mozart Festival! In 2013, Miami Music Project continues its partnership with Coral Gables Museum, keeping Mainly Mozart in the heart of Coral Gables. This beautiful venue helps enhance our dynamic series of concerts (Saturdays and Sundays, May 12 - June 9 at 3:00) and two Mozart For Children concerts (Saturday, May 25 and June 8 at 3:00).
For our final concert on Sunday, June 16 at 3:00, we are pleased to present a special performance at University of Miami's Maurice Gusman Concert Hall. This concert will feature flavorful and poignant music with introductory notes by musicologist Frank Cooper. Pianist Marina Radiushina will be joined by the artistry of violinist Eli Matthews and cellist Joshua Roman.
Miami Music Project is thrilled to be continuing the Festival in Coral Gables. We look forward to continuing the tradition of inviting esteemed local ensembles and soloists, presenting diverse and interesting programs, and providing insightful commentary on some of the most beloved music. Tickets for each concert are $20 or you can purchase the entire series of 6 concerts for $100.
In keeping with the educational mission of Miami Music Project, we look forward to two Mozart For Children concerts featuring MMP Teaching Artists who are committed to presenting classical music to South Florida's youth through fun-filled interactive performances! Admission is FREE on May 25 and June 8th, so be sure to bring the kids!
I am looking forward to the Mainly Mozart Festival at the Coral Gables Museum and hope to see you there!
Sincerely,
James Judd
