Family Concert

Rapidly emerging as one of South Florida's finest chamber ensembles The Sona String Quartet is noted for its "pulsing brilliance" and "taut accuracy". The quartet memebrs are devoted educators committed to provide exciting, high-quality music for social change. The Mainly Mozart Festival is thrilled to present these musicians in a fun educational concert for children of all ages.

Divertimento

The Amernet String Quartet will delight us in a performance of the rarely played Mozart Divertimento K. 563, which Alfred Einstein called ‘one of his noblest works’, as well as masterpieces by Dvorak and Webern.

Family Concert

Please join us for an entertaining and educational performance by the Miami Children Chorus and the ensemble of young performers from the Greater Miami Youth Symphony. The Miami Children's Chorus director Timophy Sharp will engage your entire family in a fun sing-along. Think you can't sing? We will challenge you!

In his eagerly anticipated return, Cleveland Orchestra’s Eli Matthews presents an electrifying program of works for violin and guitar and piano. He is joined by Federico Bonacossa, making his festival debut, and Marina Radiushina.

Mozart Horn Quintet

Often compared to a miniature concerto, Mozart’s Quintet for horn and strings is full of amiable and gentle music. On the other side of the emotional spectrum is Schubert’s poignant quartet ‘Death and the Maiden”.

My Homeland

This concert is co-presented with the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts and will take place at its acoustically superb Knight Concert Hall. The festival’s artistic director Marina Radiushina is joined by internationally renowned soloists: the brilliant Israeli cellist Amit Peled, Canadian violinist extraordinaire Yi-Jia Susanne Hou and Miami City Ballet’s dancers in an evocative program of chamber music masterpieces.
