Open your home. Enrich your life. Support the arts.
We are always looking for generous, community-minded individuals and families to host artists during the festival—and we’d love to welcome you into this vibrant part of our extended family.
Hosting is more than just providing a place to stay—it’s a lifestyle choice that supports the arts in a direct, personal, and deeply meaningful way. For many, it’s also a joyful experience: sharing meals, making new friends, and becoming part of an artist’s creative journey. Lifelong connections often begin around the kitchen table or over morning coffee.
What’s Expected of a Host?
The basics are simple and flexible:
-
A clean, comfortable, and private room for the artist to rest and recharge. A private bathroom is strongly preferred but not required.
-
Access to the kitchen for light cooking, making coffee or tea, etc.
-
Breakfast essentials like milk, eggs, fruit, and bread in the fridge (we’ll share any dietary needs in advance).
-
Fresh towels and sheets for the duration of the stay.
-
A spare house key for the artist’s convenience and independence.
Optional, But Appreciated
Many hosts enjoy going a little further, but none of the following is required:
-
Occasional shared meals, depending on your schedule and interest
-
Transportation assistance, such as rides to rehearsals or the airport, if convenient
-
A piano or rehearsal space at home—a huge plus, especially for musicians
Before their stay, we’ll connect you and the artist via email so you can get acquainted and go over any preferences or questions. We’re here to support you every step of the way.
Why Host?
-
Support world-class artists by giving them a home base
-
Contribute to the festival’s success in a tangible, meaningful way
-
Enjoy rich cultural exchange and form lasting friendships
-
Be part of a generous, arts-loving community
-
Receive a complimentary pair of tickets to the concert where your hosted artist is performing
We typically look for hosts in Pinecrest, Coral Gables, South Miami, and Coconut Grove, but we can consider other nearby neighborhoods on a case-by-case basis.
