Experience the breathtaking musical artistry of three illustrious musicians at an upcoming concert that promises to be nothing short of unforgettable. Miami Chamber Music Society is thrilled to present pianist Marina Radiushina, violinist Risa Hokamura, and cellist Alexander Hersh in an exhilarating program of classical works that will transport you into a world of sonic beauty and elegance.
Radiushina, Hokamura, and Hersh are all award-winning musicians with an impressive record of accomplishments. Their artistry and virtuosity are sure to captivate audiences, and their exceptional talent is highlighted by their passionate and expressive interpretations of classical music.
The afternoon will open with Halvorsen's "Passacaglia," a stirring piece that highlights the interplay between the violin and cello. Following this, the trio will perform Mozart's "Trio K. 496," which is characterized by its beautiful melodies and intricate harmonies.
Sibelius and Dvorak's "Humoresques" will provide a light-hearted contrast to the preceding pieces. These works are full of playful melodies and charming rhythms, and are sure to have the audience tapping their toes and humming along.
The afternoon will conclude with Mendelssohn's Piano Trio No. 1 in D minor. The piece captures a range of emotions, from melancholy and introspection to moments of vibrant energy and triumph. It is a testament to the composer's profound musicality and remains a cherished gem in the chamber music repertoire.
