Daniel Jordan, violin
Natalie Helm, cello
Marina Radiushina, piano
In a program that traverses sorrow, hope, and renewal, this trio of extraordinary artists—Daniel Jordan, Concertmaster of the Sarasota Orchestra; Natalie Helm, the orchestra’s Principal Cellist; and Marina Radiushina, pianist and Artistic Director of the Miami Chamber Music Society—explores the unyielding power of the human spirit through music.
From Solomon Rosowsky’s spirited Fantastic Dance on Hebrew Themes and Mykola Lysenko’s heartfelt Élégie. La Tristesse, to the searing emotional landscape of Dmitri Shostakovich’s Piano Trio No. 2, the evening culminates with the luminous optimism of Johannes Brahms’s Piano Trio in B major, Op. 8. Together, these works form a journey through anguish and endurance toward light—an affirmation that beauty and strength endure, even in the face of adversity.
